Half Round Bits

Half Round (Bull Nose) router bits are used for half round shapes and for forming edges. They can be used to form completely round edges, or to leave a bead on top and/or bottom. With two passes, you could even make dowels (large ones). Plunge Cut Hand Grip bit are used for forming and edging internal hand-holds and cutouts. Also, a soft bull nose can be cut on any exposed edge using this bit. Oval Edge (Half Bull Nose) bits produce a fully rounded edge on furniture and moldings and can also create attractive half-round profiles. This bit will cut softwoods, hardwoods, composition materials, and plywood.
