Round Nose

Round Nose bits are also referred to as Core Box bits. They make a round bottom groove and are used for reeding, fluting, carving, grooving, and edge forming. They are great for sign making, accents on furniture, and making toys. These bits can also be used to produce cove-style edges and joints. Bowl & Tray bits are perfect for routing bowls, trays, and other recessed boxes. Round Nose bits with a Bearing Guide on the shank extend the use of the bit for template work in lettering, veining, or decorative cuts.
